For decades, the Woodland Mosque and Islamic Center (WMIC) has been a cornerstone of faith and fellowship for the Muslim community in Woodland and the greater Sacramento area in California, USA. More than just a mosque, we are a vibrant, open-hearted family, united by moderate Islamic values and a deep commitment to serving all of humanity with love, mercy, and compassion.

Our foundation is built upon the profound wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), guiding us in Islam (devotion to God), Imaan (faith), and Ehsan (excellence in conduct). Every day, we strive to earn the pleasure of Allah, express our love for the Holy Prophet, and strengthen the spiritual bonds of our global Ummah, starting right here in our own community.

From enriching religious services to dynamic social programs and community outreach, we actively share the beautiful, peaceful message of Islam.

And now, we are embarking on our most ambitious journey yet: The Dream Project which has been completed. This is our vision for a multipurpose Community Building that is serving as a beacon for generations to come. It has a D'awah Center, an Islamic Sunday School, a Daily Quran Evening School, and a spacious hall for banquets, events, and indoor sports—nurturing the minds, spirits, and bodies of our youth. This is more than a building; it is the fulfillment of a dream and an investment in our future.
